From 15 June to 24 July 2022, the Oratory of Santa Maria della Vita hosts the Buddha exhibition by Michael Kenna.
111 black and white shots of the Buddha, taken in various parts of the world, guide visitors along a path between the different regions (Japan, China, India etc.) where the author met the face of the Buddha during his spiritual and artistic pilgrimages.
The exhibition is promoted by FSCIRE, as part of the international conference of the European Academy of Religion (20-23 June 2022), in collaboration with Genus Bononiae and the Carisbo Foundation and with the patronage of the Emilia-Romagna Region, UNESCO Chair on religious pluralism and peace and ASSRI (Association for the development of religious sciences in Italy).
