The Genus Bononiae venues are temporarily closed

Due to provisions set by the Prime Ministerial Decree of March 2nd, 2021, to prevent and contain the spread of Covid-19, all the exhibitions and the museums of the Genus Bononiae itinerary will be closed until further notice. In fact, museums are allowed to open only in “white zones” and “yellow zones” (lower risk); Emilia-Romagna is currently “red zone” (high risk).

Therefore, people won’t be allowed to visit the photographic exhibition “Criminis Imago. Images of crime in Bologna”  displayed at the Oratory of Santa Maria della Vita.

Palazzo Pepoli. Museum of the History of Bologna, the church of Santa Maria della Vita, that hosts the Lamentation by Niccolò dell’Arca, and San Colombano – Tagliavini Collection will be closed.

The Art and History Library of San Giorgio in Poggiale will be closed as well: the loan of books is granted via appointment only (please click here for more information).

You can also buy your ticket for the “Griffoni Polyptich” Virtual Tour, dedicated to the Reinassance masterpiece by Francesco del Cossa and Ercole de’ Roberti wich was on display at Palazzo Fava (the exhibition ended last Monday, 15th February)
