For the purpose of the exhibition Mexico – La mostra sospesa – Orozco, Rivera, Siqueiros, the initiative I play, you shopping! returns to Palazzo Fava, realized by Confcommercio Ascom Bologna and Genus Bononiae. Musei nella Città in cooperation with Federeventi Bologna.
From Saturday, December 2nd to Sunday December 17th, every Saturday and Sunday Palazzo Fava will offer to his visitors some artistic and creative workshops, animated out loud readings of books, free play and some activities with Mexican topics.
The workshops, an idea and creation in collaboration with Genus Bononiae’s Educational Services, are conceived for children from 3 to 10 years old and they will proceed every weekend until Christmas.

THE CHRISTMAS CACTUS
We create a little cactus made of fabric and we decorate it like a Christmas tree
DECEMBER 3rd
THE MEXICAN NATIVITY
Inspired by the traditional Mexican characters we create a little nativity scene to put under the Christmas tree
DECEMBER 8th
CITTA’ DEL MESSICO
In a little piece of paper, we reproduce a typical Mexican city made by rectangles and squares of all sizes and colours
DECEMBER 9th
MEXICAN GARLAND
We weave mexican garlands with pompoms and coloured strings to decorate the Christmas tree
DECEMBER 10th
STONES OR SUCCULENTS?
We create Christmas centrepieces made by a vase and some stones that we will convert in cactuses.
DECEMBER 16th
TIN DECORATIONS
Many little cans become coloured figures inspired to the decoration technique used to create the typical Mexican cans.
DECEMBER 17th
THE CHRISTMAS PRESENT
We cover some big boxes for the Christmas presents with patterned fabrics, wrapping papers and other materials, reproducing the typical Mexican patterns
FURTHERMORE a soft corner for the free play, many parlor games and a bibliographic area edited by Libreria Trame
